Los Años ’30s

La música de la década de 1930 estuvo marcada por la Gran Depresión, lo que propició tanto melodías evasivas, alegres y optimistas como también desgarradores temas de blues, con el auge del swing de las grandes orquestas lideradas por figuras como Duke Ellington y Benny Goodman, la aparición de vocalistas icónicas como Billie Holiday y Ella Fitzgerald, y estilos populares como el jazz y el blues, mayormente difundidas a través de la radio.

Lo que mas me impresiona de esta música es su versatilidad, permitiendo a artistas de diferentes eras, hacer sus propias interpretaciones. Incluso hoy en día, casi 100 años después, muchos artistas son capaces de recrearlas con un sonido absolutamente contemporáneo.
